We Are Partners on the Road to Health

With the concept of self-care gaining momentum, health and wellness have never been this significant.

This website acquaints its users with health and its dimensions which build quality life that is a fine balance of physical, mental and social wellness.

With the world becoming all the more fast paced and the advent of technology in almost every field giving rise to sedentary life, the kind of illnesses our forefathers suffered very rarely morphed into illnesses that became a part of day to day life and medical statistics say that the age incidence also declined. So if diabetes mellitus was a disease of the elderly a few decades ago, it became juvenile diabetes mellitus affecting the youngsters today.

Simultaneously, ‘modernity’ in life made us forget the solutions- the home remedies, that our ancestors had, for simple ailments and for maintaining health and prevention of disease.

Importance of Health

But that’s just about the physical dimension of health. While our ancestors had ways to maintain a good mental and social health, after a long period of heightened incidence of depression and anxieties of all sorts, we realized the importance of this aspect of health only recently. And to add to the promoting factors, we witnessed the great pandemic that has affected each one of us to different extents on physical, mental as well as social level.

This isolated not just the patients, from others, but each one of us from each other. This attack on our mental and social health has pushed us to form our own little cocoon and take care of ourselves- mentally and look after our social health from a safe distance though!
